The role she played in Step by Step was that of Karen Foster (the daughter of Carol Foster Lambert played by Suzanne Somers) and she became a household brand. Angela Watson is National Board Certified and has a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her 11-year classroom experience is combined with over 10 years as a coach. Angela created this site in 2003, when she was still a teacher. The goal of the site was to motivate educators by providing practical suggestions for classrooms and build their positive mindset. It was first referred to as Ms. Powell's Management Ideas for Teachers until 2008 which was the year it changed its name to The Cornerstone for Teachers after the publication of her first publication. Angela's training for professionals on productivity is being used in more than 45,000 schools as part of The 40-Hour Workweek program. The program was originally designed for teachers but later expanded to include administrators, instructional coaches and other teachers. 40 Hour helps teachers become more mindful of their personal contractual and instructional time so they can focus on what is important to them.
