Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson has Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). She is of Mexican-American heritage and is an American in the nationality. Gerina has always been an avid sportsperson. Gerina played golf for the first time at the age of fifteen. Gerina attended Goddard High School. As a high-school student she won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She was a volleyball player and also competed in state competitions. The year 2003 was the time she enrolled at the University of Texas. In her senior year, she won every tournament she played in. In her time at college, she received her Conference USA Player of The Year award and the UTEP Female Sports Athlete Award.
